From Durham, take I-40 West to exit 150. Make a right on Jimmie Kerr Rd and a left on Hwy 70 to get to Haw River. From Haw River, take Hwy 49 North in Barnett. Turn left on Barnett, travel a few blocks and turn left onto Cobb Farm Rd. Travel several blocks to 3344 Cobb Farm Rd. This is the camp.
Jerry Cox:
From Durham, take I-40W to Hwy. 87N, in Alamance Co. In the community of Altamahaw, take right onto Union Ridge Rd. Turn left onto Claude Simpson Rd. Turn right at 2737 Claude Simpson Rd. Camp is last trailer on dirt driveway.
Hugh Davis:
From Burlington, take Hwy. 62N. Turn left onto Union Ridge Rd. Turn left onto Darrell Davis Rd. At this point, call Hugh Davis' cell phone, at: 336-213-1121; ask for Hugh, and notify him that you are with the FLOC and are passing by to transport three workers to a FLOC meeting in Raleigh. The dirt road to camp is on your right, at #439 Darrell Davis Rd.; dirt road to camp is at the last house on right, before paved road ends. Take dirt road, until you come to two trailers on right, amidst farm equipment, sheds, etc .
Gregg Huffine:
From Burlington, take Hwy. 87 North. Pass the town of Altamahaw; stay on Hwy. 87. Turn left onto Gilliam Church Rd. The labor camp will be approximately 1 mi. on your right, next to tobacco barns and farm equipment. The camp is a white house.

When you are going north on Highway 87N, after passing turnoff for Union Ridge Road, there will be a roadside store on the right, then a house on the left. Immediately after passing the house, you turn left on the dirt road to the camp. Go through a stand of trees, and the house trailer (which is the camp) is located just beyond the trees, on right, facing an open field. Phone number for Ernesto, who lives in the trailer, is 336-524-8335.

From Burlington, take Hwy. 62N. Turn left onto Union Ridge Rd., and stay on Union Ridge Rd. for approximately 5 to 5 1/2 mi. Turn left onto Saddle Club Ln. Camp is first building on your left, a white cinder block house.
CASWELL
H.T. Harrelson:
From Chapel Hill / Hillsborough go north on Hwy. 86. In Yanceyville, merge with Hwy. 158 W. Stay on Hwy. 158 W. About 9 mi. west of Yanceyville, turn right on Allison Rd. After about one mile you will see three trailers on your left, at 1337 Allison Rd. This is the labor camp.
Cecil Butler:
From I-40 take Hwy. 119 N (in Alamance co.). Enter Caswell co. on Hwy. 119. The camp will be on your left just before Hwy. 119 intersects with Roscoe Dameron Rd.
CHATHAM
Randy Rosser:
Take 15-501 South to Sanford, and go west on Hwy. 42. Stay on 42 for approx. 12 mi. Cross over the river, which separates Lee from Chatham co., and cross into Chatham co. Take right at 1st crossroads after entering Chatham co. (small gas station on the right). Go 1 mi., and take right onto Binkley Dr. Immediately cross railroad tracks, and take immediate right, after tracks. Pass tobacco sheds on your left. Behind, on the other side of the tobacco sheds / barns, are two trailers, hidden behind the tobacco sheds. Cesar, Lorenzo, and Tomas are planning to attend the meeting.
DURHAM
GRANVILLE
Billy Ray Adcock:
From Durham: Take 85 North for about 26 miles to exit 202, Hwy. 15. Follow Hwy 15 (NOT Truck 15) as it turns through town. Hwy 15 & 96 merge into each other after about 3 miles. Follow signs to stay on 96 North (to stay on 96 N, you have to make a Left onto College St., then a Left at the Exxon, then Right on 96…just follow the signs for 96 N and you’ll get there fine). You travel on Hwy 96 for 10 miles. When you reach the tiny town of Oak Hill, and see an old Shell station on the right, make a Left onto Goshen. Go for 2.2 miles until the road ends in a T, and turn Left to stay on Goshen Rd / Jack Adcock Rd. Then make a Right onto the first street onto Walnut Grove Rd. Go between 2 and 2.5 miles on Walnut Grove Rd; you’ll pass Noel Tuck Rd (but it is not marked). The labor camp is on the right, down a dirt road, just after TweenTowns Farm at 546 Walnut Grove Rd. If you reach Person County, you’ve gone too far. It is just before Home Place Farm. Camp is visible from road IF HEADING EAST on Walnut Grove Rd. Driving west on Walnut Grove trees largely obstruct view of the camp. There may be a “Keep Out” sign obstructing your entrance down the dirt road. If so, park at the entrance and walk to the small white/yellow house at the end of the dirt road. (Approx 1 hour from Durham)
Averett:
From Durham: Take I-85 North approximately 26 miles to exit 202. Make a Right at the top of the exit ramp on Hwy 15. Go about 3 miles, passing Bryant Hill Rd. and then turn Left onto Sam Usry Rd. Go 2 miles more, passing large farm equipment on the left and at a large field on the right, and turn Right down a dirt path. At the path, there is a small green-ish sign that says something like “exemplary farm” or “conservation”. Ignore the sign warning that you'll be arrested for trespassing. As you travel down the dirt path, you will see some farm buildings and tobacco barns on the right about ¼ or ½ miles down the path. Turn Right by these buildings and the camp is the white house behind the tobacco barns. The dirt path is right after the grower’s house at 3238 Sam Usry Rd. (Approximately 45 minutes from Durham)
From Raleigh: take Hwy 50 to the town of Creedmoor. In town of Creedmoor, turn left onto Hwy 56, marked with a sign. About 200 feet later, turn right onto Hwy 15 North. Go 6 miles on Hwy 15 North to Sam Usry Road.. Follow directions above.
Sam Crews:
Take I-85 North into Granville County. Get off on exit 202 and take 15 North into Oxford. In Oxford, Hwy 15 splits; veer Right to stay on Williamsboro (NOT Hwy 15). Take Williamsboro straight until you hit a light with Salem Rd. Take a Left onto Salem; travel for maybe 1.5 miles; you will pass 158. The camp will be on your left just before Salem Rd. intersects with Tabb Creek Rd. Turn left onto a dirt road and follow this to 2 trailers (the 2 trailers are somewhat removed from Salem Rd.).
Bruce Currin:
Take I-85 North into Granville County. In Oxford, at exit 206 (?) make a Right onto Hwy 158 East towards Henderson. When Business 158 splits off from Bypass 158, veer Right to stay on Business 158. Soon after (less than 1 mile), turn Right on Dorsey Rd. (the first real road that’s not a private road). Take your first dirt path to the Left. Go through the field up to the barn. The camp is a white trailer behind the barn.
From Sam Crews camp: Take Salem road back to 158. Get on 158 East. Pass I-85, travel for about 1 mile. When Business 158 splits off from Bypass 158, veer Right to stay on Business 158. Refer to directions above.
Charles and Wayne Currin:
From Durham Take I 85 to Oxford. In oxford take Hwy 158 West about 6 miles. Camp is on your left at 2060 HWY 158 West. You will turn into a dirt path at mailbox and pass an abandoned white house with six windows. You will pass the growers house on your left and a fence on your right. Continue on path until it curves right. The house will be at the curve. It is a cinder block house.
Hugh Daniel:
From Oxford, get on 158 West. Travel about 2-3 miles, and make a Left on Enon. Go for maybe a mile, then make a Right on Tommy Daniel Rd. Go less than ½ mile. There will be a dirt road just before the second residence on the right; you'll see farm equipment from the road. Turn Right on that dirt road, and follow it past the big house and 20-30 meters beyond the big house will be the camp on the Left (gray frame house).
Elliot:
The Elliot camp is on the same dirt road as the Daniel camp. From Daniel camp, continue on the dirt road 20 meters further, and you'll see the Elliot camp on the Right hand side (light brown trailer).
Gary Fuller:
From Raleigh take why 50 noth to Creedmoor. In Creedmoor take Hwy 15 north 3.5 miles to hester Rd. Turn Right on Hester Rd. Go through first intersection. The first brick house. (second house)on you right is the growers house. Turn into a dirt path beside that house (2694 Hester Rd.) you will see tobacco barns. Go past first tobacco barns but keeping left. Turn right to follow path. You will see two white trailers.
Mike Huff:
Camp is on Hwy. 15, in between Creedmoor and Oxford (see map). From Oxford, take Hwy. 15S. Left onto Sam Usry Rd. Camp will be ON YOUR LEFT (not on your right), at 3233 Sam Usry Rd. Camp is past tobacco barns / sheds.
Robert Lawrence:
FROM RALEIGH TAKE HWY 50 NORTH TO CREEDMORE, TURN EAST ON HWY 56 TO TAR RIVER RD (about 4 miles down), TURN LEFT on Tar River Rd. Camp is at 2538 TAR RIVER RD. Turn left into dirt path and follow as you pass one house on each side. Path will curve right. There will be a white Trailer.
Mark Lyon:
Hwy 15N to Granville co. Shortly after entering Granville co., make right onto Munn Rd. Camp is approximately ½ mile on your left, at 1544 Munn Rd. CAREFUL ON THE DIRT DRIVEWAY! LARGE GRAVEL SPEED BUMPS! Go to trailer on your most right.
William Lyon:
Hwy 50N; pass Falls Lake; make left onto Old Weaver Trail; right onto Boyce Rd. Follow to stop sign, and go straight onto Will Suitt Rd. Camp is approximately 1 ½ miles on the left. When passing a two-story white house on the left, an aqua-blue trailer is visible on the left, somewhat in the distance. THIS IS THE CAMP. Access the camp by making a left on driveway at 1609 Will Suitt Rd. The aqua-blue trailer will be quickly on your right.
Jeff Preddy:
From Durham take Hwy. 15 North. Enter into Granville co. Go east on Hwy. 56. Turn left onto Hwy. 96 North. Turn right onto Philo White Rd. After you turn right onto Philo White Rd. off of NC 96 drive 1.7 miles then turn right onto Grove Hill Rd and drive 1.1 miles then turn right to follow Grove Hill Rd. (straight ahead has a dead end sign for Preddy Drive) travel .4 miles and the camp is on on the left at 2732 Grove Hill Rd.
Satterwhite:
Take Hwy. 15N into Granville co. Turn left onto Bryan Hill Rd. Turn right onto Belltown Rd. Make quick left onto Shock Overton Rd. Turn left onto Old Rte. 75. Turn right onto James Royster Rd. Camp is one-story white house on your right, at a bend in James Royster Rd., when road bends to the left.

From Durham take I85 to Oxford. In oxford take 15 north to Hwy158. Take 158 East to Salem Rd. Turn Left on Horner siding Rd. Camp is about two miles down. There are 2 white houses on your left at mailbox #6206.
LEE
Gary Kelly:
From Sanford take Hwy. 42 East. Turn right onto Broadway Rd. Turn right onto Dixie Farm Rd. Turn right into paved driveway, at 1596 Dixie Farm Rd. (the grower's residence). Immediately fork left from paved driveway onto a gravel driveway. 15-20 feet later pass a small barn / garage on your right; the camp is the trailer immediately past this barn / garage, on your right.

After a couple of miles, you’ll get to Salem Church Rd; turn Right. You will go for another couple miles and will come to a big 4-way stop in the middle of open fields. Go Left on Buckhorn Rd. Around a mile later, you will turn right on Thomas Kelly Rd. You’ll drive a short distance and will see tobacco barns and equipment on each side. Shortly after that, you will see a large white housing unit on your Right. (Approx 1 hr from Raleigh)
From Durham/ Chapel Hill: Take 15-501 through Pittsboro into Sanford (about 45 min. from Chapel Hill). Go East (Left) on Hwy 42. Just outside Sanford, you will have to turn Left to stay on Hwy 42 East. After a couple of miles, you’ll get to Salem Church Rd; turn Right. Take 15-501 /Hwy 1 South to Sanford; go past Sanford; stay on Hwy 1 when these split. Just over the Moore County line you will pass Hwy 24/27. Turn Left at the next exit around 2 miles downthis will be Crane’s Creek. Less than a mile down, Crane’s Creek will dead end on Atkins. Go Left on Atkins. Take Atkins for 1.5 miles as it continues to the Left. Turn Right on Kennerly Ln. (dirt road). Trailer is the first you see on your right side through the trees, off white. (Approx. 1.5 hours from Durham, 1 hour 10 min from Raleigh)
John W. Carter:
Hwy. 1 South or 15-501 South to Carthage. Take Hwy. 24 / 27 West (Left) in Moore County about 7 miles or so to Hwy. 705 South (Left). Travel about 6 miles to Eagle Springs. Go West on Hwy. 211 (Right). Then, Left onto Eagle Branch Rd., to quick right on Eagle Springs Rd (parallel to railroad tracks). Camp is a barrack on left, near farm equipment and tobacco sheds, to the left of Eagle Springs Rd.

Hwy. 15-501 South. Quickly after entering into Moore co., take left onto Coley Ln. Turn right onto Ronnie’s Ln. Camp is two-story house on left, towards end of Ronnie’s Ln., next to a small tobacco field.

Take Hwy. 1 South, to Cameron in Moore co. In Cameron go west on Hwy. 24 / 27. Camp is on right, on Country Boy Ln. The trailer is to the right of Donathan Farms, and the farming equipment.
Duncan & John Keith:
Take Hwy. 1S to Vass (Moore co.). In Vass, turn left onto Lobelia Rd. / Hwy. 690. Pass a golf course on your left, on Lobelia Rd. Camp is a beige trailer on the left, behind a small field, at 3095 Lobelia Rd.

Take Hwy. 15-501 South into Moore co. In Carthage take left onto Niagara-Carthage Rd. Take left onto Joel Rd. Camp is an housing unit on left, visible from Joel Rd. There will likely be a commercial farm truck parked in front of the housing unit.
ORANGE

From Durham, take Hwy. 157N (Guess Rd.). Pass Hwy. 57N, but continue north on Hwy. 157. Left onto Laws Store Rd.; quick left onto Mary Hall Rd. Camp is first house on right, white, two-story house.

From Durham
Take 157 North into Orange County. After you pass the intersection with 57, go a short distance (1-2 miles??) then make a Left onto Long Store Rd. (no right turn allowed there). Go 1.4 miles and make a Left onto Tilly Rd. (no sign, but exactly 1.4 miles from 157 N) right after a bridge. 8011 Tilly Rd. Camp is on Left. A trailer.
From Hillsborough: Take 57 North. In the town of Caldwell, turn Left to get on 157 North. Shortly after that, make a Left onto Long Store Rd. (no right turn allowed there). Follow directions above.
PERSON
Earl Brooks:
From Durham take Hwy. 501N to Roxboro. Watch for the Durham/Person County Line. Approximately 8 miles further in 501 N, see the small sign for Roxboro City Limits on the right. Within feet of that take a right onto Old Durham Road, opposite a large, high Fleet Wood Home Center on the left.Take Old Durham Road 2 miles until it meets and becomes NC 158; the workers live off the first driveway on the right after this intersection, opposite the entrance to Burchwood Cemetery on the left.

Camp is first housing unit on left on driveway.

From Roxboro go northwest on Hwy. 57 for approximately 12 mi., to the town of Semora, in Caswell co. In Semora go north on Hwy. 119 approximately 1/2 mi. Turn right onto Cunningham Rd. Approximately 1 1/2 mi. later turn right onto Scott Rd. Camp is at 565 Scott Rd., on the left.

From Chapel Hill: Take I-40 to Exit 261 toward Hillsborough. Continue on Old NC 86 through Hillsborough (as Churton St.) to NC 57 north of town. Take a slight right onto NC 57 North and continue 8.6 miles. Turn Left onto NC 157 under the blinking light at the intersection by the BP station. Continue 6.5 miles to the intersection where NC 157 bears right (Guess Rd./ Hwy 157 becomes Hurdle Mills Rd.). Continue on Hurdle Mills Rd. for 3.5 miles, past the Orange County/ Person County line; continue past the labor camp at the Russel Horton Farm (7084 Hurdle Mills Rd.). Turn Left onto Jones Store Rd. and continue 1.1 miles to a dirt driveway beside a black unmarked mailbox on the Left. Turn in that drive; the farmworkers stay in that trailer on the right and another one .7 miles away along a rutted curving road at a second trailer, on the left opposite a long empty chicken coop.
From Durham: Take Guess Rd (Hwy 157) North for close to 18 miles. Once you hit the town of Hurdle Mills (Guess Rd changes names to Hurdle Mills Rd.), it’s about 3.5 miles more….follow directions above. Mapquest directs you to take Duke St./ Hwy 501 before crossing over to Hwy 157; it’s just not as direct. You may also want to go to I-40 and follow the directions from Chapel Hill.

Traveling North on Hwy 157, cross the county line from Orange County into Person County. The 2nd Road on the Left will be Lamberth Hall Rd. Go 1-2 blocks. You will see 2 trailers on the right and the farmer's house further down on the left. The small, wide, light blue trailer is the camp; it is the first trailer on your right, parallel, not perpendicular, to the street.

From Chapel Hill, take Hwy. 86N, to Hwy. 57N. Turn left onto Hwy. 157N. Immediately after crossing into Person co., take right onto Ewart Berry Rd. Turn left on Berry-Pearce Rd. Stay straight, to go onto John Rogers Rd. Turn left into farmer's house, at 888 John Rogers Rd. NOTIFY FARMER THAT YOU ARE PASSING BY THE TRAILER, IF HE (MR. HATLEY, OR HIS WIFE) IS THERE. The camp is the trailer past the farmer's house, on the right.

Take I-40 to Exit 261 toward Hillsborough. Continue on Old NC 86 through Hillsborough (as Churton St.) to NC 57 north of town. Take a slight right onto NC 57 North and continue 8.6 miles. Turn Left onto NC 157 under the blinking light at the intersection by the BP station. Continue 6.5 miles to the intersection where NC 157 bears right (Guess Rd./ Hwy 157 becomes Hurdle Mills Rd.). From Durham take Hwy 157 north you will pass through some of Oragnge County and then Enter Person County. 4.9 miles from the person county border you will see a white house on your left. On your right there will be a red barn. This is the camp the address is 7084 HURDLE MILLS RD. Hurdle Mills Rd is the same as Hwy 157.
Joe Johnson:
From Durham, take 501 North towards Roxboro (20 miles from Durham). Enter Person County. About 5 miles before Roxboro, you will see Palace Pointe Theater on the left, and you will pass Antioch Church Rd. on the Right. When you see those landmarks, slow down and look for Roy Rogers Rd. on the Right. Take a Right on Roy Rogers. Pass the first residence on the right. Immediately after, there will be a dirt path on the right, and you will probably see the camp from the road. Turn Right on the dirt path; the camp (gray trailer) is about 20 feet down, right behind the first residence.

From Durham get on 501 North from Duke St. or I-85 to Duke St. Take 501 North towards Roxboro, about 20-25 miles. In Roxboro take Hwy 49 South until Blalock Dairy Rd.; it is about 3 miles out of Roxboro. Turn right on Blalock Dairy Rd.; immediately before the turn you will see the Roxboro Church of Christ on the Right. Go .5 mi and you will see tobacco barns on your right. On the barns, you will see an old, rusted sign that says “Roanoke.” Immediately past these is a white small house; this is the camp. (Approx. 45 minutes from Durham). Mapquest tells you to go a slightly different way, which may be slightly shorter distance but takes you on several smaller roads and turns.
From Chapel Hill: Take 15-501 North into Durham, following signs to stay on 15-501 bypass for as long as possible. Then follow directions above.

From Durham take Hwy. 501N to Roxboro. Watch for the Durham/Person County Line. Approximately 8 miles further on 501 N, see the small sign for Roxboro City Limits on the right. Mapquest sends Raleigh drivers up Hwy 1 and then through side streets to get to the Epsom area, but this might be more confusing.)
From Durham: Take I-85 North about 37 miles to Henderson in Vance County. Take exit 214, Hwy 39/ Andrews Ave. Take Hwy 39 South (Right), and follow for about 8 miles. You’ll pass Walter Bowen Rd. on the Left. Turn Right onto Foster Rd, less than 1 mile from the Franklin County border. Turn left onto dirt path across from mailbox marked 500 Foster Rd. The camp is a whitish trailer on your right (it is not visible from Foster Rd.). (Just under 1 hour from Durham.)
James Capps:
From Oxford take Hwy. 158 East. Enter into Vance co. on Hwy. 158 East. Turn left onto Poplar Creek Rd. Go approx. 1 ½ mi., and turn right at 2480 Poplar Creek Rd. Continue on dirt path, towards an abandoned labor camp. The current labor camp is a beige trailer, on your left behind small trees and foliage and up a slight incline from the dirt path.

Mapquest Lookup: Epsom, NC (the camp is just North of Foster Rd, North of Epsom)
From Talmadge Burgess' camp in Vance Co., turn Left onto Hwy. 39 North. Pass Walter Bowen Rd. on the right. Turn right onto dirt road directly across from Wayne Grissom Horse Feed shop on the left. The camp is the last house, tan-colored, on the dirt road, at the end of the dirt road.
[I was going down the dirt road behind the yellow house hoping this was right and the owner came up and told me the road was swampy and likely I could not get through and gave me better directions as follows:]
Less Swampy alternative directions:
On Hwy 39, pass the Vance County Line about 3-4 miles or so (about 2 miles after the Foster Rd. left turn off to the Burgess’ camp). There is a crossroads of Hwy 39 & Rock Mill Rd with a BP station at the corner. Turn Right onto Rock Mill Rd. and go about half a mile or less to the first right onto dirt road Gillburg Lane (across from a brick church). Turn Right onto Gillburg and go to the end, maybe half a mile or less (several trailers facing Gillburg Ln). At the end of this dirt path is an orange gate which is locked, but one can walk around it and the migrant house (tan colored) is on the right just past the gate. The house is hard to see until one walks past the gate with all the trees/brush etc.

Mapquest lookup: Townsville, NC (on Hwy 39, several miles before the camp itself)
From Durham: Take I-85 North about 37 miles to Henderson in Vance County. Take exit 214 for Hwy 39 North/ Andrews Ave (Left). Keep going on Hwy 39 for approximately 16.5 miles. Look for a faded mailbox on the LEFT hand side of the road on which you’ll see “Moody” written. If you hit a gravel road and the Virginia border, you’ve gone too far and need to go back about ½ - 1 mile and look for the mailbox (this time it will be on your right). Turn at the mailbox, then take the dirt path that forks left, to the camp, a two-story white house. (About 1 hr 10 min from Durham)
From Raleigh: Take Capital Blvd/ Hwy 1 North from Raleigh for about 30 miles; stay on Hwy 1 Bypass North when it splits with Business 1, just before Henderson, for another 6 miles. From Henderson, take 39 North/ Andrews Ave (Left). Keep going on Hwy 39 for approximately 16.5 miles. Follow directions from above. (Approx. 1.5 hours from Raleigh).

From Durham take hwy I 85 north to Henderson. IN Henderson take 39 south to Epson Rocky ford rd.There will be a gas station on your right. Turn Right on Epson Rocky Ford Rd. Go to first Dirt Rd. on right that is marked with a street sign. Turn right. Go down dirt rd and at houses go left. Continue until another fork and stay left. You will pass tobacco fields and on your left an abandoned camp. Stay on dirt rd as it turns right. The dirt rd will lead to a white house this is the camp.

Barham #2:
From Raleigh, take Hwy 401 North past HWY 96. The grower’s house is the first house you’ll see after the intersection, a large white house on the right with metal tobacco barns behind it (approx the distance of 2 blocks down). Make a right on the first dirt or gravel driveway on the right, before the house. Take the driveway BEHIND the house as it veers left. The camp is a small wooden house near some outbuildings behind the house to the left.
Bennie Barham:
From Raleigh, take Hwy. 401N (Capital Blvd.). Pass through town of Rolesville. Take right onto Hwy. 96 (Zebulon Rd.). Turn right at mailbox and path at 5917 Zebulon Rd (across Hwy. 96 from a small pond, on your left). Pass two-story white house on your right and the tobacco sheds. Camp is the 1st trailer on your right.
John Barham:
From Raleigh take Hwy. 401 North. Pass town of Rolesville. Turn right onto Hwy. 96 South (Zebulon Rd.). Turn left onto Oscar Barham Rd. Go approx. 1 mile to large white two-story residence on your right, at a bend to the left in Oscar Barham Rd. This is the labor camp.
William Brinkley:
Coming from Raleigh, head north on Creedmoor Road (Hwy 50). Go on Creedmoor Road 14.8 miles north of Millbrook Road, or about 5.6 to 5.8 miles north of where Hwy 98 crosses Creedmoor Rd. Turn left onto Old Weaver Trail. Go 2.9 miles on Old Weaver. Turn left onto Boyce Rd. Go .1 miles on Boyce to 10225 Boyce Rd. It's on your left. Go to about the 4th building (all on your left), a small, yellow-orange cabin about 50 feet back off Boyce Rd.
Lafayette Buffaloe:
From Raleigh, take Hwy. 401N (Capital Blvd.). Take right onto Mitchell Mill Rd. Pass intersection with Fowler Rd., and slow speed. Camp is a small concrete barrack on your right, removed from Mitchell Mill Rd. but still visible from it, approximately the 6th or 7th residence on the right, after crossing Fowler Rd.

From Durward Cook's camp continue north on Piney Grove-Wilbon Rd. Turn right onto Wilbon Rd. Immediately on your right will be farming equipment and a tobacco warehouse. Turn right into 2nd driveway; the relevant camp is a whitish residence at the rear of the lot, next to a trailer, also at the rear of the lot.
Durward Cook:
From Raleigh, take Hwy. 401S (Capital Blvd.) to Fuquay-Varina. Go west on Hwy. 42. Turn right onto Piney Grove-Wilbon Rd. Pass Burt Rd. on your left. Camp is a small one-story white house on your left, at slight bend to the left in Piney Grove-Wilbon Rd.
Thomas Dean:
From Raleigh take Hwy. 401 South. Turn left onto Old Stage Rd. (if you miss Old Stage Rd. turn left onto Ten-Ten Rd.). Pass intersection with Ten-Ten Rd. Pass Rolling Farm Dr. on your right, and begin slowing down. Turn right onto a dirt road in the middle of a soybean field. Follow the dirt road to what will appear to be a recently constructed suburban neighborhood. The labor camp will be a concrete barrack on your left.

From Chapel Hill take Hwy. 55E, to Fuquay-Varina. In Fuquay-Varina take right onto Wilbon Rd. Follow Wilbon Rd. until it ends at Piney Grove-Wilbon Rd., and turn right. Take another right at Wade Nash Rd. Pass house at the corner of Wade Nash and Piney Grove-Wilbon (5617 Wade Nash Rd.). Take next dirt road on right; follow dirt road: it will bend back to the right. There will be a light-colored trailer on your left, just past an old wooden farmhouse.
J.T. Jordan:
From Raleigh, take Hwy. 401S (Capital Blvd.) to Fuquay-Varina. Go east on Hwy. 42. Turn left onto Sauls Rd. Turn right onto Jordan Rd. Go approximately 1 mile and you will see one or two yellow school buses on your right. Take right onto dirt road at school bus. Camp is two trailers on your right, 1/4 mi. down dirt road.
From Ogburn Camp to Jordan camp: From Ogburn camp, make a Left onto Old Stage Rd (Old Federal Rd?). Travel for less than a mile, then Make a Right onto John Adams Rd, where road splits off (Panther Lake Rd on left). Go maybe 1 mile. Make a Right onto Hwy 42, East Bound. Travel maybe 4-5 miles, passing Barber Bridge Rd and Rock Service Rd. Then make a Left onto Sauls Rd (Crowder Rd?). , Go approximately 1 mile and you will see one or two yellow school buses on your right. Take right onto dirt road at school bus. Camp is two trailers on your right, 1/4 mi. down dirt road.

From Fuquay-Varina take Hwy. 42 east. Take right onto Old Stage Rd. Pass Bud Lipscomb Rd. Take right onto Barbour Store Rd. Camp is a trailer, on dirt road behind 8030 Barbour Store Rd., the 2nd or 3rd house on your left after turning onto Barbour Store. You must turn left onto the paved driveway (Maggie Ln?) at 8030 Barbour Store Rd. to access the dirt path that leads to the workers’ house. Take a right through the two equipment buildings and then a left to get back up to the little white house.
Tandy Ogburn:
From Raleigh take Hwy. 401 South. Not too far outside Raleigh (4-5 miles?), Hwy 70 splits off. Stay on Hwy 4011 and you'll hit Garner & "Greenbriar Estates" and "Echo Heights" (according to the map). Right in that area, turn left onto Old Stage Rd. (if you miss Old Stage Rd. turn left onto Ten-Ten Rd., then Right on Old Stage). Pass intersection with Ten-Ten Rd. at Williams Crossroads (about 4-5 miles). Pass intersection with Hwy. 42 (about 3-4 miles). Go 1-2 miles more and pass Panther Lake Rd. on your right, and begin slowing down. The labor camp will be on your right, at 12920 Old Stage Rd., just before the intersection of Old Stage Rd. with Bud Lipscomb Rd.

From Raleigh, take Hwy. 64E to Knightdale. Turn right onto Smithfield Rd. Turn left onto Railroad St. Go one block and turn right onto Fayetteville St. Go approximately 1.5 mi. and turn left at 1007 Fayetteville St. (grower's house). Camp is to the left of the grower's house, behind tobacco / farm equipment.

From Raleigh, get on I40 East. Take exit 301, on your left, for I-440N / Hwy. 64E / Hwy. 50N. Take exit for Poole Rd. Turn right onto Poole Rd., at end of exit ramp. Pass intersection with Hodge Rd. Pass Grasshopper Rd. on the right. Turn left onto Bethlehem Rd. Turn left at white sign for Pope Farms. Follow path past grower's houses, tobacco barns and farm equipment, to light blue-like trailer.
